Leave the M6 at Junction 23 Take the A580 towards Liverpool/St Helens Ignore the first turn to Billinge (large white sign on left saying left to Billinge) After 3 miles from M6 take the A571 to Wigan (large green sign on left). Small white sign on central reservation says Billinge. After about 2 miles take the left hand turn at mini roundabout into Rainford Road (Jacksons Plumbers facing you) if you pass the Shell Station you have missed this turn. Travel down this road over a humpback bridge until you reach a right turn (more like a slight angle to the right) take this right and at the T-Junction at the end of this road turn right over another bridge and turn in to Houghwood Golf Course which is on your right about half a mile up this road. The office is at the far end of the car park, Golf Buggy Hire is displayed on the wall.
